Some (interesting and practical) Tips…

  • Spend the money that should be spent, enjoy what should be enjoyed, donate what you are able to donate.
  • Don’t worry about what will happen after you are gone, because when you return to dust, you will feel nothing about praises or criticisms.
  • Don’t worry about things that you cant change because it doesn’t help and it may spoil your health. You have to create your own well-being and find your own happiness; As long as you are in good mood, think about happy things, do happy things daily and have fun in doing, then you will pass your time happily every day.
  • With good mood, suitable amount of exercise, always in the sun, variety of foods, reasonable amount of vitamin and mineral intake, hopefully you will live another 20 or 30 years of healthy life.
  • Above all learn to cherish the goodness around ..and FRIENDS. …They all make you feel young and “wanted”… without them you are sure to feel lost!!

  1. Is the best course of advice one can give to one’s aapa (that lives close to the pole , ’cause north n south pole people need vitamins year round ). There is one more school of thought. A couple’o’years ago we attended a seminar on “Diseases of Heart”coducted by scholars @ Abu Huraira Islamic Ctr.Toronto. One of the factors leadind to this human medical and psychological issue , is too much socializing , they said. Almost three of the great scholars from U.K. jordan and kenya emphesized on this point that when a person starts disbalancing between Huquuq ullah and Hququl ibad , diseases of heart catch him. interestingly when we tilt more towards people and neglect Allah , happening of a disease makes sense. But one turns to Allah leaving the world behind and then having problems isn’t understandable.Boy o boy , those people were really men of their trade , those Ulama’ elaborated and proved it that man is designed to live among men , not leaving Allah. There is nothing like a good friend. When time comes ,blood leaves one but friendship lasts. Choosing among friends is not easy .Nabi-e-kareem SAW made mistakes and so do we ’cause we dont know about His people and also about coming situations but He knows. That is why we should pray for good people around where ever we go and which ever line we adapt. Quality time spent with friends can become Sadaq’a Jaria when we teach something positive or learn.Least is a fresh mid morning or evening which is also a good idea. Hang on ……are you a good friend of mine ? tell me next time .or I will ask Abdullah . stay smiling . ( I know u wud say ” after this long sermon?” )

  2. Life is quite a relative thing. It becomes as simple as much as we make it such, and becomes as difficult as much as we take it such.
A US jargon “KISS” (Keep It Simple & Stupid) makes life easy and light, is practicable and workable + enjoyable at the same time. We’ve practically seen it in their aerospace technology (no wonder they’re leading air and space). Same can be applied to relations, religion, time / space management, living, work, training, economics and personal skills.
Its our culture, household and social set up, those teach us how to see and pass / tackle life as. Even to the highest pinnacle of humanity (religion and final direction of life – refer Soorah Al Mulk : 2), we are slaves of our home. Shia baby is born to Shia family. Sunni home makes a kid Sunni…..and likewise.

and for the same very reason, Islam is not just a religion; its a “way of life”.
