Wisdom Pearls – 28

  • The elevator to success is out of order. You’ll have to use the stairs… one step at a time. (Joe Girard)
  • Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent. The slogan ‘press on’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. (Calvin Coolidge)

کتنے تارے شہید ہوتے ہیں۔۔۔ ایک اْجلی سویر کے پیچھے

There are some things, which are over and above our intellect, understanding and grasp.
“Shaheed” is one such term.

Allah says in Quran about the state of shaheeds that “tumhein uska shaoor nahin”…

“And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah’s way as ‘they are dead’; No, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive (that life)…” (Al Baraqarah : 154)

So, where our minds do not dare to tread, we must not endeavour to define, discuss or deliberate upon those things…

Value and stature of a Shaheed is over and above our mortal minds, weak comprehension and short-term wisdom..
